What a beautiful, joyful Saturday! We made baked "apple cider donuts" for breakfast, and the children (including the bonus sleepover one) are busy filling the house with a generous helping of (fairly) quiet chaos... :)

Amidst it all, Day 3 of the "12 Days of Christmas Giveaways" is ready to roll!

Today we bring you a truly lovely book from the publishers of the ever-gorgeous Jeanne d'Arc Living magazine!

 

We have been selling Jeanne d'Arc Living magazines for just over two years now, and we rate it among the "best of the best of the greatest magazines ever in the history of the world". And their books? Equally amazing.

The quality of the paper, the stunning photos, the great customer service. It all adds up to a first class publication. We absolutely *heart* them.

 

Imagine our delight when they offered to sponsor Spellbound this year by sending every.single.participant. a copy of their book "The Best Recipes"! This is a compilation of their favorites from years of recipes published in the magazine.

Their generosity is a bit overwhelming, and we are so incredibly grateful. Thanks, JDL!!

Have we introduced you to Cathe Holden yet? Cathe (pronounced Cathy) is the artist and blogger-extraordinaire at the amazing website "JustSomethingIMade". We met Cathe a few years ago at the Creative Connection, and were instantly taken by both her talent and her friendly spirit.

 

Cathe joined us last month as an instructor for Spellbound, and needless to say, her class projects were absolutely gorgeous as well as wildly popular!

 

Now we are excited to be offering one lucky person a copy of her book "Rosette Art"!!

Formatted as a portfolio, it includes some gorgeous paper designed by Cathe especially for the book, so you can get started right away. And who doesn't love a beautiful rosette?!?

No matter what the schedule says today, we are just going to make the time to begin the countdown to our favorite day of the year by launching a "12 Days of Christmas Giveaways"!!

We have some really lovely things from some incredibly talented and generous artists and manufacturers/publishers... so let's begin!!

The absolutely wonderful Pamela Huntington graced us by joining the teaching staff at Spellbound 2 last month. We were in love with her wonderful projects and her sweet, generous spirit. You can read about her adventures at Spellbound here.

 

We are so excited that Pam has donated one of her lovely creations to be given away to one of you! This gorgeous cuff bracelet and it's accompanying muslin bag are the very definition of her style and attention to detail.

 

We especially love the vintage lace, the glass leaves, and the ruched seam binding. Just beautiful, don't you agree?
