Today has been the sweetest of days. A tribute to Grandparents at Stella's school, and the chance to be with her in an environment that makes her so happy and proud of her successes and accomplishments. She has thrived there, and I truly love visiting her in the classroom.
But before that, in the earliest hours of the day, we had a Bunny Rabbit Picnic at the park, and this is what she wore.
Most girls love a good headband, and she is no exception. There is something very sweet and girly about a large-scale flower perched "just so" on the head. Big girls and small alike, it is a charming look.
Rounds and rounds of ruffled chiffon, circles of gathered pearl-encrusted lace, tulle and a rhinestone button. Wired pearls and seam binding accents...
Seal of approval.
These bunnies would not stay on the blanket, and liked to perch precariously on the bridge instead. The others were more cooperative, and Stella is keeping a good eye on them.
If you are going to picnic with bunnies, you must be vigilant... and willing to go with the flow.
