"Glamorous Life" Add-Ons

 

The rain has been falling softly this morning in perenially sunny Southern California. Cool and breezy, with the promise of sunshine peeking through at any moment. I love these periods of "in-between", anticipation of warmer days and the abundant flowers of May.

But for today, the droplets on the studio windows seem to be echoing the shine and sparkle that lies within, waiting to be carefully wrapped in tissue and sent away to become the lovliest of projects and heirloom treasures.

This month's crown is truly a handmade wonder. Freshwater pearls, Austrian crystals and molded leaves, all wire-wrapped to floral perfection!

 

Delicate, dreamy, delightful. We are smitten with this tiara! As always, only a handful available.

This is an astonishingly beautiful sequin fabric. Creamy organza and glorious silver sequins. Soft and drapey, yet with a great weight and "hand". Just gorgeous! 54" wide.

The absolute sweetest organza with tiny flowers appliqued on, finished with a light sprinkling of pale gold sequins. This fabric is white, and we cannot wait to tea dye a piece to see what magic that creates! 54" wide.

Oh, my. This was yet another case of a dusty box yielding the truest of treasures! We scooped up all that were available in these two luscious colors, and we are so excited to offer them to you. Heavy satin bows completely covered on the fronts with seed beads, sequins and in the case of the "Sunset Pink" one, pearls. Fairly large at 5" across, these could be used in so many ways!

Lovely beading on the lightest of organza bases, you will find yourself using these for so many different kinds of projects. For size reference, the round ones are approximately the size of a quarter.

What is it about sparkle that can create such joy in a woman's soul? The sparkle of rhinestones. The sparkle of vintage-y metallic threads.
