First of all, I must tell you this:
When Jo Packham asks you for a favor... no matter what it is... you just do it. Because that is the kind of love she inspires.
That being said, last week we found ourselves the proud owners of one rush order for a pink, sparkly tutu, a decorated tank top, and a tiara. (The tiara was the easy part, and if you have been following along for any length of time at all, you know that is just a given.)
The tutu was to go to the lovely Loralee Choate, and she needed it for a touching and important event at Blogher. Read about it here.
After a couple of really fun and glittery afternoons in the studio, this is what emerged:

And here we have one of those priceless moments when a rush order is oh so very gratifying. A good friend, a good cause, and a girl meets the outfit she was born to wear. The Boy even asked if she was a Disney Princess. Which endeared him to me forever. Amen.
