The New Year has brought with it some incredibly exciting events, so let's get started!!!
We are over-the-moon thrilled to open up registration for our first fabulous weekend event of 2010! As we approach Valentine's Day, our thoughts are turning to romantic jewelry and soft, twinkly lighting.
Please join us as we celebrate this sweetest of holidays, and create not one, but two stunning works of art in a beautiful, inspiring setting.
Spend the weekend of February 6th and 7th creating heirloom projects that will surely take your breath away...
On Saturday, February 6th, the amazing and talented team of Natalie Hansen and Lonnie Jenck will guide you through a truly sweet and lovely necklace... sure to make your heart skip a beat!
You will learn the steps involved in wire-wrapping, as well as making fused metal bezels, embellished glass pieces, and embedded filigree. This is your chance to learn these fascinating techniques and take your artistic skills to a whole new level!
All supplies will be furnished to complete your beautiful necklace!! Of course, you may wish to bring special treasures of your own (pictures, beads and jewels) to adorn your piece.
(The photo below is not a class sample, but a peek at some of Natalie's work. Sooo beautiful!!)
But that's not all!!
On Sunday, February 7th, get ready to create an amazing altered "chandelier" with Shea Fragoso and Debbie Murray. We will take a lampshade armature, and magically transform it into a fantasy light fixture, perfect for your studio space... or anywhere you need a little magic. Bits of lace, scraps of silk, strands of crystals and ribbon. The sky is truly the limit for this project!
We will supply everything needed to complete your chandelier... and we will have plenty of "stash" available for you to choose alternate or additional elements!!
We cannot wait to see what everyone creates in this class!!
This really is an all-inclusive weekend... we will enjoy both lunch and dinner together on Saturday, and lunch and afternoon tea on Sunday!! Plenty of beverages and snacks both days, as well!
We are offering these two days of artistic bliss at the incredible price of $275.00 for both days and both completed projects! Space is very limited, so please sign up early, and don't miss this amazing and highly-anticipated event!
Give yourself the Valentine's Day gift that you really, really want! ;)
Hope to see you here........
