We are so excited to be participating in the Spellbinders Diamond Anniversary: Sneak Peek and Giveaway, as we prepare to launch our brand new line with them this weekend at the Craft and Hobby Association tradeshow!! Yay!!
This past year has been a total whirlwind of design and collaboration, resulting in what we hope you will find to be a collection of timeless and romantic mixed-media pieces, just right for a vintage-inspired jewelry, gift, papercraft or home decor item.
Today, we would like to share two projects created with our new line, and offer you the opportunity to win all of the A Gilded Life items used to create both products!!
Spellbinders Artisan Explorer Machine with metal plate.
Small piece fabric.
38" length ribbon. We used May Arts 1/4" silk ribbon.
Jewelry glue. We used 527 from Beacon.
Emery board or steel wool.
Cut one heart from smaller die in fabric.
At the same time, run the "negative" piece of foil through the texture plate, as well. We will use a piece cut from this area to complete our design.
Using wire cutters, remove the top loop from the Notre Dame charm included in the Relics A pack.
Carefully glue around the edge of the acrylic bezel cap and attach to the top. It will set quickly, but you might want to use a couple of clothespins to clamp it while drying.
For our second sneak peek, we would like to show you this beautiful crown that was created with two of the die templates from our collection!
This crown was made by cutting two of each die shapes in chipboard, and gluing them end-to-end. The Petite Monarch was then glued to the Imperial Border base, and the two rows were formed into a circle to create the crown shape, and glued with Beacon's Zip Dry.
The crown was painted with metallics, and a generous length of May Arts silk ribbon was woven through the Imperial Border as a finishing touch. So much fun to create with these dies!!
We hope you have enjoyed our sneak peeks! For more projects, and more chances to win, please visit the incredibly talented Linda on her blog!!
